Miley

I just wanted to say a little bit about my beautiful little Miley. I love this girl so much. She has been a little needy lately. I think that she is getting some teeth in and it is taking a long time. She is starting to realize she can roll around to reach her desired destination. Which is so fun and also a little terrifying. My favorite thing in the world is when I get her out of bed in the morning or after a nap and she sees me and just smiles her huge smile. I love that we named her Miley, because she is so "SMILEY". That has become her nickname, thanks to Jackson who says it all the time. I am so grateful to have such a sweet little girl.

Good Weather . . . Haircuts . . . 5 Months . . .Sick Kids

This last week came so fast. We have really been blessed with great weather the last couple of days. No matter how long I have lived in Utah I never get use to the crazy weather that we have. One day it is 80 degrees and then the next day it was 35 degrees and snowing. This isn't good for anyones mental well being. However the weather has been some what consistent which is nice. So the other day Ryan and Jackson decided it was time for the first lawn mowing of the season. The picture may look like the weather was good, but it was so windy. Jackson loves to mow the lawn with Ryan and believes that Ryan can't get it done without him. Which isn't exactly true, Jackson just wanted to crash his lawn mower with his dad. It did get done and is ready for summer. One thing that I dread in our house is haircut time. It takes me about 2 weeks to get Ryan to go get a haircut and by that time his hair has a life of its own. When it's time for Jackson to get a haircut he screams, cries, and does everything he possibly can do to get out of it. We bribe him, we threaten him, and he just hates it. Well, it just so happens that Ryan and Jackson needed a haircut and so I decided to get out the clippers and do it myself. Jackson sat on Ryan's lap and held on like he was being tortured. I was so sick of Ryan's hair that I just buzzed it, he looks like he is going into the army. The more I see it that more I like it. Jackson was so excited that he and his dad have twin haircuts. Miley also turned 5 months on Friday. I can't believe she is this old. She has such a fun personality and really lives up to her nickname Smiley Miley. She is starting to roll over and play with toys. She loves Jackson and every time he comes around she gets this giant smile on her face. She wants to sit up so bad, she tries when she is lying down and can't do it so she gets frustrated. I love her and can't imagine her not in our family. It was a year ago this weekend that we found out that we were pregnant. Man, how time flies. The beginning of las weekend we started to have some sick kids. They both were coughing and then they got runny noses. Yesterday I took Miley into the doctor and he said she is probably the very last case of RSV this season. I couldn't believe it. We have been so carefully this whole time to keep her in and away from sick kids so this very thing wouldn't happen. Luckily her oxygen levels are great and so she doesn't have to go to the hospital. We still need to watch carefully to make sure she doesn't get worse, because the doctor said he would put her in the hospital. It's not fair when these little kids get sick.
